Rebranding and new visual identity
Burdened with an outdated image, the Royal Belgian Cycling League (RLVB/KBWB) wanted to update its visual identity and its communication. The Belgian cycling Federation sought a communication specialist with affinities with the world of cycling to conduct a major rebranding campaign, assist it to professionalise its communication and develop efficient marketing tools.
With a working group made up of various officials from the federation, Bold & pepper managed a strategic exercise to analyse and modernise the federation's missions, vision and values. The conclusions of this work were then used as a basis for the development of a new visual identity (new logo, new name and new graphic charter).
In conjunction with the rebranding, Bold & pepper organised two personalised workshops on social media to help the federation's communication and marketing team on the road to professionalisation.
Lastly, Bold & pepper produced several Belgian Cycling marketing tools, including an original federation presentation kit intended for commercial partners, a calendar and a sponsoring package and a kit to promote the Belgian championships.
The new visual identity has generated a lot of positive feedback, both within the federation and from members, partners, the press and foreign federations. Rarely has there been such a unanimous response to rebranding. This positive and enthusiastic response has helped to update the federation's image and attract new partners.
The unique nature of the federation's presentation kit has also been highly praised by Belgian Cycling. In the opinion of the sports federation's officials, this marketing tool exudes an appealing professional image and facilitates discussions with potential partners.
Whilst the Belgian Cycling calendar has already reached collector item status, the Belgian championship promotion kit has generated an unprecedented response rate.
